Problem Statement
Designing for neurodivergent children meant prioritizing familiarity, accessibility, and ease of use. The platform needed to align with classroom teaching methods while ensuring educators could conduct assessments efficiently. The challenge was creating a seamless experience for both teachers and students without cognitive overload.
Design Approach
After a three-day workshop at Sankalp, a school for children with SLD, I designed a clean, distraction-free interface with a collapsible sidebar and a simple, high-readability font. The platform balanced minimalism with engaging elements to ease the transition from traditional learning to digital tools. The Framer landing page highlighted Jiveesha’s impact, making the product accessible to educators.
Impact & Outcomes
Jiveesha streamlined the screening process, giving educators a structured and efficient way to assess students. The platform was showcased at Learn 2024, gaining 1.4k views in a day with over 200 unique visitors. Jiveesha also contributed to Daira EdTech’s recognition as a top 6 startup at the AI for Public Good Challenge at Startup Mahakumbh 2024.
